Dr Snigdha Saha provides specialist neurosurgical care with a personal approach. She consults from West Perth and provides care for patients with general and complex neurosurgical conditions involving the brain, spine and nervous system.
Dr Saha is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at St John of God Subiaco Hospital and Hollywood Private Hospital. She also holds public appointments at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Perth Children’s Hospital, where she is Head of Department Neurosurgery.
She treats general and complex neurosurgical conditions, with special interests in neuro oncology, including brain and spine tumours, and spinal degenerative conditions such as radiculopathy, myelopathy, spinal stenosis and spondylolisthesis.
Dr Saha has undergone extensive neurosurgical training in India and Australia. She completed her MBBS and neurosurgical training in India, attaining Diplomate of National Board of Examinations in Neurosurgery.
She then worked as a Neurosurgery Fellow at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital and Perth Children’s Hospital. Dr Saha obtained her Fellowship in Neurosurgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
She has also been a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons State Committee for two terms.
Dr Saha operates on private insured patients at St John of God Subiaco Hospital and Hollywood Private Hospital.
She is also affiliated with Perth Children’s Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital through her public appointments.
